Stock: 20,000 monographs and 22,000 periodicals, 63,000 pamphlets. 38 current periodical titles, 400 dead periodical titles.
Special collections: Rare book collection of approximately 8,750 volumes which date from the 15th to the mid-20th century.
Services: Multi-function device for scanning, printing and photocopying using DS-Print service. Printing and photocopying charges: Black & White A4 - 5p per sheet, Colour A4 - 30p per sheet.
Opening hours:
  • Term time: Mon-Thu 8:30am to 5pm, Fri 8:30am to 4:30pm
  • Christmas and Easter vacation: Mon-Thu 8:30am to 5pm, Fri 8:30am to 4:30pm
  • Summer Vacation: Mon-Thu 8:30am to 5pm. Fridays open only to Zoology Department members with card access to the building
