Stock: Geographical coverage: South and Southeast Asia, including Indian Ocean, Philippines and Hong Kong. Subject coverage: Humanities and Social Sciences. c. 31,000 monographs, 380 periodical titles (current and dead), c. 10,000 microforms, over 800 historical maps and large collection of university research papers.
Special collections: Cambridge South Asian Archive - over 600 collections of personal papers, 120,000 photographs and c. 60 hours of amateur cine film taken by Britons in India in the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s (available online). Also oral history archive of c. 300 interviews (available online). Collection of South Asian newspapers on microfilm (3,387 reels of 19th and 20th century newspapers). India Office Records on microfilm/fiche (over 3,584 files). South Asian official publications collection (late 19C-, mostly 20C).
