Admits: The Upper Library is open to all members of Gonville and Caius College. Other interested parties are only admitted on an exceptional basis, by appointment.
 
Historic collections may be accessed by appointment by anyone with a genuine research interest. Please email library@cai.cam.ac.uk for further information.
Stock: Working collections: 60,000 volumes of books and journals which aim to cover the essential reading of the Cambridge Tripos, together with postgraduate level material in many areas.
 
Historic collections: 26,000 early printed books and incunabula, and 900 manuscripts.
Opening hours: The Library is open to Caius members from 7am to 1am every day. Library Staff are on site Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 6.00 pm.
