Admits: Resident members of the University, others by arrangement.
Stock: Around 10,000 books supporting teaching and research in the department. Topics include behavioural neuroscience, cognitive neuroscience, developmental psychology, social psychology, and political psychology.
Special collections: MacCurdy Library (psychopathology collection). Departmental archives including the papers of Oliver Zangwill and Kenneth Craik.
Services: The library offers study skills teaching for undergraduates, document delivery services for Department members, and tailored enquiry support. We offer quiet study spaces, a bookable group study space, computer access, printing/scanning/copying, and an ELD (Electronic Legal Deposit) terminal. A comb-binding machine and lockers are also available.
Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

 

Department of Psychology staff, graduate students and Part II students have 24-hour card access to the library. Visitors from outside the department should contact us via email to book an appointment.
