Admits: The Working Library is open to all college members and other interested parties by appointment. Special collections may be accessed by anyone with a genuine research interest, again by appointment.
Stock: Working Library: ca. 40,000 post-1900 printed books -- Old Library: ca. 50,000 pre-1900 printed books, manuscripts and personal papers.
Special collections: Substantial holdings relating to John Milton and Charles Darwin, Hutton bequest of Persian manuscripts, Stephen Gaselee collection of Coptic manuscripts, Lesingham Smith collection of early-mathematical books and Robertson Smith collection of materials in oriental languages.
Services: Wireless internet access, networked PCs, printing, photocopying and scanning facilities.
