Stock: 60,000 monographs, 490 periodical titles (current and dead), 750 volumes of Rare Books (oriental history, literature and travel). Current newspapers from Middle East and East Asian Countries.
Special collections: Centre for Middle Eastern Studies (Modern Middle East). Lattimore Collection (Mongolia and Central Asia). Abrahams Collection (Rabbinics and Jewish history). Archives of Oriental scholars and travellers. Marshall, Wheeler and Lockhart photographic collections on Indian archaeology and Iran.
